OLATHE, Kan. - Rocky Lamar picked up his 797th career victory in a tough 64-61 battle with Central Methodist on Wednesday. The Eagles started the game on an 8-2 run, but the Pioneers quickly fought back and had a 35-32 lead at halftime. In the second half, a 10-0 Pioneer run - including back-to-back 3s from Anthony Brown, put MNU up by 13. But the Eagles stormed back to cut the deficit to 1 with under 2 minutes to play. Neither team could find a bucked over the next few possessions, and a Pedro Lopes score at the end of the shot clock with 6 seconds remaining in the game put MNU back up by 3. CMU's final shot rimmed out at the buzzer, and the Pioneers escaped with a win.
