OLATHE, Kan. - The Pioneers fell to 0-4 after a tough loss to Briar Cliff on Saturday. MNU took an early lead when Morgan Hill broke free and beat the keeper one on one. Just 4 minutes later, Briar Cliff tied it and the game was tightly contested for the next 45 minutes. In the 55th minute, the Chargers headed in a long cross to take a 2-1 lead. MNU threatened multiple times, but couldn't penetrate the Briar Cliff defense in the final minutes.
