OLATHE, Kan. - The Pioneers fell behind and couldn't make a comeback in a 2-1 loss to Morningside on Friday. The Mustangs scored in the 20th minute for the only goal of the half. Morningside made it 2-0 in the 54th minute, but the Pioneers closed the gap with a goal by Itziar Rodriguez (assisted by Brylee Johnson and Alyssa Ward) in the 63rd minute. MNU couldn't find the equalizer and fell 2-1.

Morningside's 2nd goal proved to be the difference.
