Pioneers Fall at #2 Penn to Close Season

DES MOINES, Iowa - The Pioneers closed the season with a 98-68 loss at #2 William Penn on Thursday. MNU jumped out to a 10-2 lead, but a 17-2 run by the Statesmen put MNU in a hole from which they could not recover. The lead was 14 at halftime and ballooned to 30 in the second half.

Penn's 17-2 run in the first half turned the game around.

Individual Leaders
Patrick Cairns shot 8-13 for a game-high 20 points. Trey Brown had 19 points and 8 assists. And Cameron Brady added 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 blocks.
