KANSAS CITY, Mo. - MNU out-scored their opponents 28-2 while picking up a pair of wins over Ottawa and Tabor on Monday. And on Tuesday, the Pioneers rallied late to walk off York in the morning before out-slugging Avila in the afternoon. In the early game vs. Ottawa on Monday, MNU rallied for 4 runs with 2 outs and nobody on. Another rally in the 2nd inning made it 8-0, and the Pioneers cruised behind
Kyle Waller's 6 strong innings to a 16-2 victory.

MNU's 4-run 1st was enough.

Kyle Waller struck out 7 and allowed 0 earned runs in a 6-inning win. And

Game 2 Turning Point
Joshuan Sandoval's 2-run double in the 1st proved to be the game-winner.

Jhon Vargas allowed just 4 hits and struck out 11 in a complete game shutout. And

In the Tuesday morning game vs. York, the Pioneers rallied for 2 runs in the 2nd inning to take a 1-run lead, but the Panthers responded with 2 in the 5th and 1 in the 6th to lead 4-2. In the bottom of the 6th with 2 outs and 2 on,
Austin Healy's drive off the wall tied the game. In the bottom of the 7th, 2 walks and a single loaded the bases, and
Ryan Leo's sacrifice fly ended it.

Healy's game-tying double in the 6th gave MNU life.

Eric Navarette earned his first Pioneer win with a scoreless relief inning. And

In the Tuesday afternoon game vs. Avila, the Pioneers jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning, and rallied for 4 more - highlighted by a
Joshuan Sandoval bomb - in the top of the 3rd to lead 7-2. Avila fought back with 4 in the bottom of the 3rd, however, and the MNU lead was down to 1. The Pioneers kept scoring with 1 in the 4th and 2 in the 5th, and Avila got back into the game with 3 runs in the bottom of the 6th. Three straight doubles led to 2 more runs for MNU in the 7th, and
Eric Navarette pitched a clean inning for the save.
Game 4 Turning Point
MNU's 3 runs in the first gave them a lead they would not relinquish.
Game 4 Individual Leaders
Brady Boyd earned the win with 3.1 solid innings out of the pen. Eric Navarrette picked up the save with a perfect 7th. And
