OLATHE, Kan. - The Pioneers played into a scoreless overtime before a PK ended things in a 1-0 Heart Tournament quarterfinal loss to Mt. Mercy on Friday. MNU, with half of their All-Conference selections either banged up or unable to play (Hovinga, Theberge, Izurieta), couldn't find the back of the net despite several corner opportunities and had to settle for a scoreless tie after 90 minutes. Early in the first overtime, Mt. Mercy drew a foul in the box and converted the PK for the win.
