OLATHE, Kan. - The Pioneers opened the 2021-22 season with a 44-point victory over Kansas Christian in the Jeff Uphaus Memorial Tournament on Wednesday. After KCC opened the scoring with a 3-pointer, MNU went on a 14-0 run to take control. MNU led 51-34 at halftime, and the lead ballooned to over 40 as the Pioneers ran away with it.

MNU's 14-0 run in the opening minutes put them in front for good.

Individual Leaders
Jake Alexander led the way with 23 points in 26 minutes off the bench. Anthony Brown had 21 points, 8 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 2 steals. Cameron Brady had 19 points, 15 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 3 steals. Darnell Miller added 15 points. And Trey Brown had 8 assists and 4 steals.
