OLATHE, Kan. - The Pioneers led by as many as 30 in a 74-62 victory over Evangel on Wednesday. MNU jumped out to a 10-0 lead before Evangel responded with back-to-back threes to close the gap. But the Pioneers went on a 26-6 run to open up a 22-point halftime lead. When MNU started the second half with a 7-0 run, Evangel removed their starters and didn't re-enter them. The Pioneers extended the lead to 30 with 6 minutes left and cruised to the finish. MNU managed just 3 more points during garbage time, but still came away with a 12-point victory.
