OLATHE, Kan. - The Pioneers played a flawless second half to turn a tough game into a blowout in a 95-70 victory over Culver-Stockton on Saturday. The Wildcats jumped out to an 8-0 lead and built a 16-5 lead after 7 minutes of play. MNU responded with a 9-0 run to close the gap, but Culver again used a run to lead by 12 with 5 minutes left in the half. The Pioneers dominated the next 25 minutes. A 14-3 run to close the half got MNU within 1, and the run continued into the second half. The Pioneer led by 13 after 6 minutes, and the advantage snowballed to 27 down the stretch. Anthony Brown punctuated the game with a thunderous dunk in the final minutes. 

Turning Point
The last 5 minutes of the first half saw MNU trim a 12-point deficit down to 1.

Individual Leaders
Anthony Brown had 23 points. Blake Spellman shot 9-12 for 23 points and 6 assists off the bench. Cameron Brady added 15 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 blocks. Pedro Lopes had 12 points and 8 rebounds. And Trey Brown had 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists.
