OLATHE, Kan. - MNU dropped a close one at home to Baker on Wednesday. The Pioneers came out strong, going on a 21-2 run to start the the game, but Baker fought back to cut the lead down to 7 to end the first half. The second half was a well-fought battle by both teams with the lead constantly changing between MNU and Baker. Baker tied the game at 43 about four minutes into the second half, but this game went down to the wire. The Pioneers had 3 chances to inbound the ball under the basket in the final seconds, but the contested shots wouldn't fall and Baker won their first game in Olathe this century.
