OLATHE, Kan. - The Pioneers shut out Benedictine despite being a man down for the second half on Wednesday. Mathieu Ecourtemer got MNU on the board with a brilliant free kick just outside the box, but the Pioneers suffered a straight red card late in the first half. Playing a man down in the second, MNU was dominant. The Pioneers controlled possession and created several chances, finally breaking through again with an Ecourtemer goal in the 75th minute to put the game away.
