LAMONI, Iowa - MNU won 3-1 over Graceland to move to 3-0 in the Heart on Saturday. The 10th win of the season already surpasses 2018's total. MNU lost the first set 18-25 but controlled the next three 25-10, 25-18, 25-22 to take the match.
"I'm happy with 2 more wins but these weren't easy for us," said Coach Karagyaurov. "Playing away on a Friday night and then playing in Graceland's gym are really difficult things to do! The girls are learning to still try and play well when the "good vibes" aren't there. We definitely were challenged this weekend.
McKenna Webster, our libero, dug 55 balls in 7 sets this weekend which was key to continue to give our offense opportunities to score. We enjoyed these but we are already looking forward to a very solid CMU team on Tuesday evening at home in the Cook Center."
