OZARK, Mo. - MNU closed the season with a pair of losses in the Conference Tournament on Saturday. In
Game 1 vs. Baker, MNU got on the board in the top of the 1st, but Baker rallied for 5 runs on 3 hits in the bottom of the 3rd. The Pioneers got 1 in the 4th and 1 in the 6th, but Baker kept pace and won 7-3.

Joshuan Sandoval (3-4, 2B),

Nick Wagoner (1-1, RBI) led the offense.
In
Game 2 vs. Mt. Mercy, the Pioneers fell behind 6-1 before making a comeback in the 4th. MNU batted around and took 2 bases-loaded walks to go with 4 hits and an error to bring home 6 and take a 7-6 lead. The Mustangs came right back in the 5th, however, and scored 3 runs to re-take the lead. Two more in the 7th made it 11-7, and the Pioneers managed just 1 more run to fall 11-8.
