ATCHISON, Kan. - The Pioneers dropped both games of a double header at Benedictine on Tuesday. In Game 1, MNU fell behind 5-0 after 2 innings, and a late comeback came up just short. Trailing 5-1 in the 6th, Audrey Denges homered and an Emma Gordon RBI groundout scored Cassidy Berry to get the Pioneers within 2. In the 7th, a Kinsey Kiser sac fly got MNU closer, but the tying run was stranded and the Ravens took Game 1.

Game 1 Individual Leaders
Kaleigh Bayless (2-3, SB, Sac) and Emma Ryan (2-3) had 2 hits apiece. Kinsey Kiser (1-3, RBI, SF), Emily Robinson (1-3, RBI, SF), Audrey Denges (1-3, R, HR, RBI), and Emma Gordon (0-1, RBI) drove in runs.

In Game 2, the Ravens again took an early lead with a 3-run 2nd inning. MNU scored on an error in the 5th, but the Ravens put up 3 more in the bottom of the 5th to take a commanding lead. Kaleigh Bayless homered in the 7th, but the Pioneers fell 7-2.

BC's 3-run 2nd was all they needed.

Allison Denges earned a complete game victory. And Kaleigh Bayless (2-3, 2 R, BB, HBP, SB), Cassidy Berry (2-3, R, 2B, SB, Sac), Audrey Denges (2-3, 2B, 2 RBI, BB), and Hannah Tenberge (1-2, R, RBI, BB) led the offense.
