KANSAS CITY, Mo. - MNU opened the Heart schedule with a double header sweep of Mt. Mercy on Friday. Due to MNU field conditions, the games were moved to the Urban Youth Academy in downtown Kansas City. The Pioneers took control of Game 1 in the second inning. With 2 outs and the bases loaded,
Joshua Crispin's 2-run double gave MNU a 2-0 lead. Two batters later with the bases loaded,
Jeremie Gonzalez made it 5-0 with a bases-clearing drive to the wall.
Juwan Padro's 2-run triple capped a 7-run inning, and the Pioneers cruised to a 9-2 victory.

Austin Conour struck out 6 in a complete game victory. And
