FAYETTE, Mo. - MNU finished the regular season with a tough 77-68 victory at Central Methodist on Wednesday.
Kechelle Figueroa started the game with a long 3-pointer and MNU never trailed. The Pioneers led by 5 after 1 quarter and had a 9-point lead at halftime. With 3 minutes left in the 3rd, MNU led by 14. But CMU closed with a 12-5 run to get back in it. With 2 minutes left in the 4th, CMU closed the gap to 3. But as with every other run the Eagles made, MNU responded and scored the final 6 points of the game to win by 9.

Jovana Jovovic led MNU with 29 points, 12 rebounds, and 4 assists.
