"Benedictine brought their A-game in front of a good crowd on dig pink night," said Coach Karagyaurov. "They served really well and made big plays when it mattered. Benedictine is coached well; they have 10 seniors and in their house they weren't going to give us the match and we knew that. We fought hard and gave them a run for their money on their home floor but ultimately came up short. We have to learn to play better when it gets tough and struggle through the "funk" especially on the road. But we literally don't have time to let this loss effect us. We have #6 Park on Thursday and more importantly we have to travel to Culver-Stockton on Saturday for another road conference match! Our goals haven't changed. We will continue to learn and grow as we strive against our own ceiling."
