"CMU is a strong team with a lot of weapons," said Coach Karagyaurov. "They bring an offensive pace that we don't see very often. But honestly, with my first regular season over I'm sitting here reflecting. The first week I got this job in April we went to a spring scrimmage and didn't even win one set against any of our opponents. We started the season ranked 12th of 13 teams in the conference. I had two goals for my first year - make the post-season and finish top 6. Both of those the girls accomplished and I couldn't be more proud! They bought in to the new leadership. They bought in to the new systems. They laid the ground work for a new culture of MNU volleyball that will extends much past this season. As I told my girls, it's an honor to be in the post-season and not one I take for granted. It's an honor to have practice tomorrow because 5 teams in the Heart won't. We will head to Clarke on November 9th in the heart conference tournament. The work isn't done yet. We still have gas in the tank and we plan to empty it against Clarke next weekend. In other news,
Jennifer Roth is 2 aces away from tying me on the career list at #2 all-time in career aces. It's time to place your bets if she will get it done in 2019 or have to wait for 2020."
