Morgan Hill found
Savannah Moxley for a 1-0 lead. Less than 2 minutes later, Moxley's cross into traffic resulted in an Own Goal and a 2-0 lead. The Eagles got back into the match with a goal in the 76th minute, but MNU held them off the rest of the way for a 2-1 win.
"We came into this game with a handful of injuries which was something new for us this year," said Coach McClanahan. "However, we focused on the things that were in our control leading up and during the game and we were rewarded with a victory. We talked about playing our game and putting the ball into dangerous spots and scored from two crosses. The coaching staff and I are extremely proud of the heart and mentality each individual played with tonight."
