OLATHE, Kan. - The Pioneers bounced back from their first Heart loss to beat Baker 69-58 on Monday. The Wildcats jumped out to a 9-point lead, but MNU closed the first quarter strong to trail by just 2 at the break. A 3-point MNU halftime lead ballooned 14 after a 27-16 3rd quarter score, and the Pioneers maintained a multi-possession lead in the 4th.
Turning Point
MNU went on an 18-4 run late in the 1st and early in the 2nd quarter to take the lead for good.

Kechelle Figueroa had 19 points, 6 assists, and 3 steals.
Jayden Oliver had 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Anna Roulston was 4-5 from the field and 5-5 from the line for 13 points and 12 rebounds off the bench.
