Hannah Benedict who confidently hit the ball into the corner of the net to give the Pioneers the lead. The remained of the half was a tough battle for both sides. Into the second half, the Pioneers enjoyed more possession of the ball however Clarke were dangerous on the counter attack. While dangerous chances were created for both teams and shot count was 24 shots (MNU) to 3 shots (Clarke) the game ended 1-0.
