SEWARD, Neb. - The Pioneers found themselves down 1-0 in the 25th minute by a slotted ball through the back line that found Concordia's Victoria Cera who put the ball in the back of the net. The game remained 1-0 going into halftime. After the break, the game was very back and forth and chances presented themselves for both sides. It was in the 56th minute that MNU's
Savannah Moxley played a ball over the top of Concordia's back line to
Maria Garcia who took a touch and smashed the ball past the keeper with her left foot. The game went into double OT but neither side was able to break the deadlock.
