OLATHE, Kan. - The Pioneers dominated Kansas Wesleyan in a season-opening sweep on Wednesday. Early in Set 1, MNU rattled off 7 straight points to take control and then built a 19-5 advantage before cruising to a 10-point win. In Set 2, KWU built a 17-9 lead before the Pioneers started a comeback. A 5-point run followed by a 7-point run put MNU up 21-18, and the Pioneers held on to win 25-22. In Set 3, MNU jumped out to an 8-4 lead and extended throughout to win by 10.
