ATCHISON, Kan. - The Pioneers won the opening game of the season in a 76-53 victory against Southwestern Christian on Friday. MNU opened with two buckets from
Whitney Moia and the Pioneers never trailed. SCU kept the game close into the 2nd quarter, but the Pioneers went on a 9-0 run to close the half and take a 10-point lead. MNU controlled the second half and saw the lead balloon to 29 late in the 4th before winning by 23.
