OLATHE, Kan. - The Pioneers were shut out for just the second time as Central Methodist won 1-0 in double overtime in the conference tournament semifinals on Tuesday. In the opening 15 minutes, MNU recorded 2 point-blank shots on goal, but the Eagles keeper was up to the task. The rest of regulation was a back-and-forth affair as the evenly-matches teams traded chances. CMU gained control of possession in the final minutes of regulation and applied big pressure in the first overtime and in the first few minutes of the second. Finally, in the 105th minute, a cross made it to the middle of the box and was headed home for the winner.
