OLATHE, Kan. - MNU held off a late-charging Park in the finale of the Jeff Uphaus Memorial Classic on Friday. The Pioneers started the game on an 8-0 run and maintained a multi-possession lead through halftime. Another 8-0 run started the second half and the lead was 17 with 13 minutes left. The Pirates responded with a 19-4 run to trim the deficit to 4, but MNU controlled the remaining 9 minutes to win by 9.

Jonathan Green shot 6-9 from the field and 9-11 from the line for 21 points.
