After a quarter and a half of scoreless football, the Vikings put together a 6-play 6-first down touchdown drive to take a 7-0 lead, and that score held into halftime. MNU got on the board with a 36-yard field goal from
Pablo Pereira on their first drive of the second half, but the teams struggled offensively for several drives and the score remained 7-3 late into the 4th quarter. With under 4 minutes left, an MNU fumble turned into a 1-play Valley touchdown drive and a 14-3 lead. The Pioneers responded with a touchdown drive and a failed PAT for a 14-9 deficit, but Valley recovered the onside kick to seal the win.
