Hudson Welty shot 7-10, including 4-4 from beyond the arc, for a career-high 20 points in an 86-75 win over Peru State on Wednesday. The senior forward hadn't made a 3-pointer since his freshman year and had only even attempted 10 in the last 2-plus season before nailing three in the first half as the Pioneers built a 15-point lead. The Bobcats started the 2nd half on a 12-4 run to trim the deficit to 5, but MNU responded with an 8-0 run to push the lead back to double digits.

Welty had 20 points and 8 rebounds.
