OLATHE, Kan. - MNU shot 56% in an 86-73 victory over Avila on Wednesday. After a back and forth start, MNU took control with a 12-4 run and had a 10-point lead at halftime. The Pioneers came out of the break on fire and pushed the lead to 19. Avila was able to cut the deficit to 9 with 4 minutes left, but MNU allowed them no closer and won by 13.
