Mitchell McMullen scored 29 points in 22 minutes off the bench to lead MNU to an 8-point win at Baker on Wednesday. The sophomore entered the game after 4 minutes of play and drilled 4 threes in just over 2 minutes to turn a tie game into an 11-point lead. Baker tied the game early in the second half when McMullen again provided a spark. Eight points in 5 minutes pushed MNU's lead back to 8, but the Wildcats clawed their way back to a 2-point deficit with McMullen on the bench. In the final minutes he twice hit buckets to hold off Baker, and the Pioneers made free throws down the stretch to win by 8.
