Alisha Washington hit 3 threes in the first quarter to build a 10-point lead. The lead reached 16 points in the second quarter before CMU started to chip away. MNU led 39-29 at halftime and 56-51 heading to the 4th. With 6 minutes left, MNU led by 9 but the Eagles kept fighting. CMU tied the game with 35 seconds left and Washington answered with a bucket with 17 ticks left. CMU's DaJonee Hale converted a 3-point play with 7 seconds left to take a 1-point lead, but the Eagles fouled Washington on the inbounds play and she hit both free throws to take the lead back. Hale then went the length of the floor in 7 seconds and hit a leaning elbow jumper to end the game.
