Shelby Frans led off with a double and Maddie Johnson knocked her in to give the Pioneers the lead.
Emily Robinson finished her start with 6 straight scoreless innings, and MNU won 2-1.

Emily Robinson earned the win with with a complete game 5-hit victory. And Maddie Johnson (2-2, R, RBI, 3 SB, Sac),

In Game 2, neither team got much going as each pitcher breezed through the first 3 innings. In the bottom of the 4th,
Kinsey Kiser's RBI single put MNU up 1-0, and the Pioneers rallied for 4 runs on 4 hits in the 5th to blow it open. MNU scored another in the 6th and William Penn rallied for 3 in the 7th, but
Clarisa Cortez finished her start for the win.
