The Pioneers fell behind early and never got back into the game in a 25-point loss at Baker on Monday. MNU led 8-4 after an 8-0 run, but Baker went on a 17-4 run to close the quarter. The second quarter was more of the same and the Wildcats led 40-21 at halftime. The Pioneers tried to get back in the game with a 24-17 advantage in the third quarter, but could not maintain the momentum as Baker increased the margin in the fourth to win 85-60.
Tristin Wicks led the offense with 20 points and 8 rebounds. And
Tanchelle Hollingsworth added 11 points.
