The Pioneers finally got some rhythm late in the period and trailed by 12 at the break. The scoring picked up for both teams in the second half, and
David Nelson caught fire from beyond the arc, but MNU still trailed by 5 in the final minute.
Justin Randall hit a jumper before MNU got a stop and
Jonathan Green scored quickly to cut it to 1. MNU was forced to foul and Baker split a pair of free throws to take a 2-point lead with 16 seconds left.
David Nelson caught a pass and drilled a deep three while fading away, and MNU won by 1.

David Nelson went 7-10 from deep for a career-high 23 points.
