The MNU Men's Soccer team went on the road yesterday to play conference newcomer Clark University. After a venue change because of rain in the area, the team won their third conference game of the year by the score of 3-0.

MNU got on the board very early with two goals inside of the first four minutes of the game. The first goal by
Dominic Harrington was assisted by
Eduardo Heringer and
Frantzly Zephirin after a nice passing sequence. The second goal was scored by at
Etienne Proult after a nice pass into space by
Matias Cabello. The Pioneers were in control of the match and continue to dominate every statistical category. They could not add to the first two goals and the score at halftime was 2-0.Â

The second half was more of the same. MNU dominated in possession and opportunities and in the 67th minute they added the third and final goal of the game.
Etienne Proult secured his brace after a Heringer corner kick found him wide open on the back post. For the game, MNU outshot CU 42-6, with shots on goal being 23-0. Clarke's goalkeeper was credited with an astounding 20 saves in the match. MNU's
Yann Passet and
Juan Pablo Riesco shared the minutes and had zero saves. CU falls to 1-7 (0-3) on the season.
MNU is 6-1-1 (3-0 Heart). The next match is Tuesday at #10 ranked Baker (6-2-1, 2-0-1) at 8:30.
