The Pioneers won the first three games before dropping the finale in a weekend series vs. Baker over the weekend. The scores were 8-0, 11-2, 5-0, and 8-11.
In Game 1,
Emilio Gonzales dominated while the offense scored in 5 of their 6 innings. Baker recorded a hit in the first and sixth innings, but never dented the plate as Gonzales struck out 9 in the complete game shutout.

In Game 2, Baker got a 2-out 2-run single in the top of the first to get on the board, but starter
Blake Robberson held them scoreless the rest of the way. MNU tied the game in the bottom of the first then rallied for 5 runs on 4 hits in the second. Four more scored in the fourth, and MNU cruised to an 11-2 victory. Robberson struckout out 9 for his 5th win of the season. And

In Game 3,
Phil Graham tossed his second no-hitter of the season and faced one over the minimum. Two of his three walks were erased on double plays, and he struck out 8 while throwing just 84 pitches. MNU scored 3 in the second and 2 in the sixth to win 5-0.

In Game 4, the Pioneers took an early 4-0 lead thanks to a
Logan Tills 2-run homer and 2
Jason Jones solo shots. Baker cut the deficit in half with a 2-run third, then took control of the game with 5-run fifth. The Wildcats seemingly put the game out of the reach with a run in the sixth and 3 more in the seventh to take an 11-4 lead, but MNU didn't quit. The Pioneers rallied with a
Jordan Eckley 2-run homer,
Jason Jones' 3rd homer of the game, and an RBI double from
Jeremie Gonzalez to make it 11-8. The bases were loaded with 2 outs to bring the winning run to the plate, but a flyout ended the game and Baker won 11-8.
