NAIA Recap | MNU held Lindsey Wilson to 30% shooting in a 60-44 victory in the quarterfinals of the national tournament on Saturday. An early 9-0 run gave MNU a 15-6 lead, and the Pioneers led 17-10 after the first quarter. MNU took control in the second quarter, pushing the lead as high as 20 before heading to the locker room with a 37-19 lead. LWC outscored MNU by 2 in the second half, but the outcome was never in doubt as the Pioneers cruised to their first Fab Four since 2007.
Jasmine Webb led MNU with 12 points.
Megan Balcom had 11 points and 3 assists.
Tristin Wicks had 9 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 blocks.
Bailey Rinehart added 9 points and 6 rebounds. And
Kyleesha Weston had 6 points and 6 assists.
