Jonathan Green's huge lift off the bench was not enough as MNU lost a road contest at Grand View 88-84 on Monday. The game was tight in the first half until the Vikings went on a 14-5 run to take a 10-point lead. The cushion grew to 15 points in the second half before MNU began to chip away. Several small runs finally got the Pioneers within 1 with 23 seconds left, but Grand View hit enough free throws down the stretch to hold off MNU and win by 4.
Jonathan Green was 9-13 for a career-high 26 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals.
Payne Andrus added 15 points and 5 assists.
Ryan Garcia added 13 points and 2 steals. And
Justin Randall had 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 blocks.
