Chesney Vaughn put together a couple to lead MNU to a 26-24 victory. In Set 2, MNU took control early and rolled to a 25-16 win. Then a huge service run from
Rachel Kater turned a 7-9 deficit into a 16-9 lead en route to 25-19 win to complete the sweep.
Gisele Silva had 12 kills and 11 digs.
Taylor Cowan added 11 kills and 6 blocks.
Rachel Kater had 24 assists and 5 blocks. And
Cailyn Bessmer (6 blocks) and
McKenzie Hayes (5 blocks) helped control the net.
MNU is 17-5 (4-1 Heart). The next match is Tuesday at defending national champion Columbia (8-8) at 6:30.
