Pioneers Win HAAC Opener

Box Score The Pioneers extended their HAAC win streak to 22 with a 3-1 victory over #19 Evangel on Tuesday. The scores were 25-14, 22-25, 25-21, 25-17. Sofija Berevozska led MNU with 14 kills and 3 aces. Taylor Cowan had 10 kills and 7 blocks. Emily Hester had 9 kills and 3 blocks. Zoraida Heredia had 9 kills and 13 digs. And Becca Powers and Rachel Kater had 25 assists apiece.

Including 9 straight HAAC tourney victories, the streak vs. conference opponents is up to 31. MNU is 7-6 (1-0 HAAC). The next match is Friday at College of the Ozarks (4-7) at 5:00.
