David Clark led 6 Pioneers in double figures in a 95-86 victory over Missouri Valley on Saturday. MNU held a comfortable lead throughout the first half, and took a 7-point lead into the locker room. But Valley opened the second half with a 12-4 run to take the lead. The Pioneers countered with a 20-6 run over the next 6 minutes to re-take control of the game, but the Vikings again came back to get within 3 with 4 minutes remaining. MNU dominated the final minutes, however, and built another 10-point lead before it was over. The Pioneers shot 59% while no individual shot under 50%.
David Clark led MNU with 20 points and 3 assists.
Luke Thomas had 17 points, 18 rebounds, and 3 assists.
Nick Syrie recorded 16 points and 12 assists.
Conner Langrehr had 15 points off the bench.
Nate Launius had 13 points. And

MNU is 15-9 (7-5 HAAC). The next game is Thursday at home vs. #8 Evangel (18-6, 9-3) at 7:30. Evangel is tied with Benedictine and Culver-Stockton at the top of the HAAC.
