The Pioneers kept is close at #15 Culver-Stockton on Monday, but never had a lead after the opening minute in a 91-88 loss. The Wildcats took a 10-point lead after 6 minutes of play, but MNU went on an 11-2 run to get back within 1. The pattern continued throughout the contest, as Culver would build multi-possession leads only to see the Pioneers chip away to get back in the game. With 8 minutes remaining in the game Culver led by 11, but MNU fought back one more time, using a 14-5 run to get within 2. But the Wilcats made enough free throws down the stretch to hold off MNU, and the Pioneers lost by 3. The big difference in the game was from beyond the arc, where Culver was 10-20 and MNU was 1-14.
