Daria Sprew needed 15 points to reach 1,000 for her career, and she scored 16 in #15 MNU's 99-47 victory at Peru State in Tuesday. The Pioneers scored first and increased the lead throughout the game, never allowing the Bobcats more than a 6-point run. A 28-point halftime lead was pushed to 52 by the end of the game as MNU shot 68% while holding Peru to 29%.
Sprew was perfect (8-8) from the field for 16 points.
Kelsey Balcom (6-8) matched Sprew with a game-high 16. Shadèqua Longus scored 13 off the bench.
