Olsen Shines in Pioneer Victory

Misty Olsen recorded 5 points as the Pioneers defeated previously-unbeaten CMU in the HAAC opener on Saturday. In the 4th minute, Olsen took a pass from Kelli Reid and buried it for a 1-0 lead. The Eagles responded by scoring goals in the 18th and 30th minutes to take the lead. Late in the first half, Steffi Krohn took a pass from Olsen and knocked it home to tie the score. Late in the game, in the 81st minute, Olsen collected a rebound and found the back of the net for the game-winning goal in a 3-2 victory.

MNU is 6-6 (1-0 HAAC). The next game is Saturday at home vs. Graceland (6-5-1, 0-1) at noon.
