Pioneers Beat Valley 1-0 on Homecoming

The Pioneers won a big conference match on Homecoming with a 1-0 decision over Missouri Valley on Saturday. The match was scoreless through halftime until the 70th minute when a corner kick from Kelli Reid found Kara Collins on the back post to give MNU the lead. The defense held firm for the final 20 minutes, and HAAC Defensive Player of the Week Sarah Helm earned the shutout with 3 saves.
