Pioneers Drop Third Straight

Box Score Stats | The Pioneers lost their 3rd straight game for the first time since the 2010-11 season in a 101-91 defeat at College of the Ozarks on Saturday. The game was tight until a 9-0 run by Ozarks turned a 37-37 tie into a 46-37 halftime lead. The Pioneers got within 3 with 9 minutes remaining, but Ozarks held them off and the lead stretched back out to 13 in the final minutes.

Luke Thomas had 24 points and 16 rebounds. David Clark recorded a career high with 24 points on 9-12 shooting. Conner Langrehr put up 17 points. And Brandon Newton had 12 points and 7 rebounds.

MNU is 9-6 (1-2 HAAC). The next game is Thursday at Evangel (12-3, 3-0) at 7:30.
