Seven Pioneers had at least 6 points - led by Kelsey Balcom's 10 - and Rachel Boan recorded 6 points, a game-high 7 rebounds, and 4 assists in the regular season finale. MNU won their 17th straight, tying a school record set in the Final Four season of 06-07.

The Pioneers finish the regular season 27-2 (17-1 HAAC). They are the 1-seed in the conference tournament and host 8-seed Missouri Valley (8-22, 5-13) on Thursday at 6:00.

The Pioneers ended the regular season on a high note, beating #10 Evangel on the road in a shootout. MNU started the game leading 12-7 after 4 minutes. After an Evangel timeout, the Crusaders went on a 25-10 run to take a double-digit lead. With 6 minutes left in the first half, MNU went on a 15-5 run to tie the game at 44. The game went back and forth throughout the second half as the game was tied 10 times. With 4 minutes left and the score tied at 84, the Pioneers rattled off 6 straight points to take control. Evangel fought back and got within one possession 3 times, but Luke Thomas went 4-4 from the free throw line in the final minute to sealed the contest.

Rustin Dowd had a game-high 25 points to go along with 3 assists. Luke Thomas recorded another double double with 18 points and 13 rebounds off the bench. Nick Syrie had 16 points on 7-10 shooting while handing out 11 assists. David Clark was 5-6 from the field for 11 points. And Conner Langrehr added 12 points off the bench.

The Pioneers finish the regular season 22-8 (14-4 HAAC). They are the 3-seed in the conference tournament and host 6-seed Baker (15-13, 8-10) on Thursday at 8:00.
