Box Score 2 MNU went to Baker and split a pair of basketball games on Tuesday.
Stats | In the women's game, Baker jumped out to a 14-4 lead before the Pioneers went on an 11-0 run to take a 1-point lead. Another big run, this time 10-0, put MNU up by 10 after a
Kyleesha Weston 3-pointer. The Pioneers took a 7-point lead into the halftime break. MNU extended the lead to 14 with 12 minutes remaining, and pushed it all the way to 19 with 5 minutes left. Baker didn't quit, however, and went on a 14-1 run to close the game. Time ran out on Baker, and MNU won 74-68.
Martyna Kudziela led the offense with 14 points and 6 rebounds off the bench.
Kelsey Balcom had 13 points.
Megan Balcom had 10 points and 3 steals.
Kyleesha Weston had 6 points, a team-high 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals off the bench.

Stats | In the men's game, a second-half collapse contributed to a 5-point loss at Baker. The Pioneers dominated the first half, using a 15-0 run to build a 17-point lead before taking a 15-point lead into halftime.
Luke Thomas had 20 first-half points. Baker came out of the break hot and quickly erased the deficit, tying the game with 8 minutes remaining. The Wildcats took the lead and never gave it back, building a multi-possession lead for the remainder of the half and winning 90-85.
