Box Score Stats | #6 MNU won a low-scoring affair vs. #16 Carroll over the weekend. The Saints put up 14 more shots than the Pioneers, but only connected on 21% of them while MNU shot 41% to win 48-42. MNU use their typical fast start to build a 20-4 lead and took a 12-point lead into halftime, but Carroll turned the tables in the second half and close the gap to 40-39 with 9 minutes left. The Balcom sisters recorded back-to-back buckets to push the lead back to 5, and the Pioneers held on for a 6-point victory.
Kelsey Balcom led all scorers with 15 points. And
Daria Sprew had 14 points and 5 rebounds.
MNU is 11-1 (3-0 HAAC). The next game is Thursday the 9th at Evangel (4-8, 1-1) at 5:30.
