Pioneers Blow Out Ozark Christian

Highlights | MNU moved to 4-0 with a 131-89 victory over Ozark Christian on Thursday. Two early runs gave MNU a big cushion as they cruised to the final horn. A 8-2 run to start the game was followed by 20-4 run to put the Pioneers up by 16. MNU took a 73-42 lead into the locker room, and Coach Lamar emptied the bench in the second half as the Pioneers won by 42.

Luke Thomas had a game-high 20 points and 12 rebounds. David Clark put up 16 points, 7 assists, and 4 rebounds in just the first half. Conner Langrehr had 16 points and matched a career high with 7 rebounds. Nick Syrie recorded 10 points and 4 assists. Nate Launius had 10 points off the bench. Brandon Newton had 9 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists. David Nelson had 6 assists off the bench. And Cale Brubaker put up 9 points and 4 assists in 8 minutes.

MNU is 4-0. The next game closes out the Jeff Uphaus Memorial Classic on Friday vs. Sterling (2-0) at 8:00.
